Sail Series – A Baltimore Clipper: Pride II
Presented by the MCHC Maritime Committee and in partnership with Pride of Baltimore II
$65 per person
Take a three-hour historic sail on Pride of Baltimore II and re-enact the sailing experiences of Baltimore clipper privateer crews during the War of 1812. Departing from Canton, the historic home of Baltimore clippers, we will sail past Fort McHenry out into the Patapsco River. Historians and MCHC staff will be on hand to provide one-on-one knowledge and demonstrations, including a cannon salute and raising and trimming Pride’s sails as they were done 200 years ago.
