What People Are Saying
“The MCHC was the greatest place to have a wedding. We got married outside in the courtyard and had the reception in France Hall, which was a great multi-purpose/event room that was easy to use and adapt to our purposes. The staff was extremely friendly and they had an on-site coordinator/assistant there for the rehearsal and day of. When it looked like it might rain and we wouldn’t be able to use the courtyard, they offered to open up another part of the museum to our guests to compensate. They also had a decent amount of parking available to our guests, rare in the middle of Baltimore. Overall I loved having my wedding in such a special place.”
“Scott Rubin and his team were so incredible to deal with. He was there from beginning of the day through the end! Our guests loved the space and thought it was incredibly unique. Parking was onsite and all of our other vendors had an easy load in process, which made our day less stressful. Plus, the neighborhood has a ton of dining, hotels and things to do. So our guests who traveled were able to take some time to explore Baltimore. Pricing was great to fit our budget! Our photographers had a blast shooting around the museum as well. Couldn’t be happier with how our wedding turned out!”
“The place is first-rate! A gay wedding, you say? Not even an eyelid was lifted upon our inquiring. From moment one, the staff was professional, kind, calm, warm and sincere and very thorough in a comforting way. Moreover, MCHC is a place of history, full of proof of strife and success, talents and tribulations and triumphs. It was a good and natural choice for us.”
