Chatelaine

Description

Chatelaine for a belt used for carrying small objects. This one is composed of Bible clasps, collected by an English aunt and given to Mrs. Charles J. Bonaparte in 1871. Hanging from the belt by chains are scissors, a pencil, a knife, a pincushion, a vinaigrette, and a notebook.
