Club Hippo Grand Finale flier

Description

Flier announcing the final night of the venue Club Hippo located at the corner of Eager and North Charles Streets in the Mt. Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland. Opened in 1972, and owned by Charles "Chuck" Bowers since 1978, the nightclub was a safe haven for members of Baltimore’s LGBTQ+ community for over 40 years and hosted DJs, fundraisers for AIDS awareness, and a variety of live performers such as the Weather Girls, Thelma Houston, and drag artists.
