Dagger

Description

Dagger (Jambiya) with sheath and braided belt. Likely a Middle Eastern dagger (Jambiya) with a braided belt. Jambiya is from the Hampton mansion and was likely purchased by the Ridgley family between 1846-1848 during their Grand Tour of Europe, in which they visited the Ottoman Empire.
