George Vickers writing to Elleonora Barroll in Chestertown, Maryland regarding bank information from Barroll's husband, John Leeds Barroll. John Leeds Barroll was in the Confederate capitol of Richmond, Virginia after having to leave Maryland because he published an article in his paper that was considered treasonous by federal officials. The Barroll family was a prominent Kent County family in the 19th and 20th centuries.
