Hynson-Ringgold House

Description

Front view of the Hynson-Ringgold House located in Chestertown, Maryland. Also known as The Abbey, it was built in 1743 for Dr. William Murray, who purchased the land from Nathaniel Hynson. Since 1950, the house has served as the official residence of the president of Washington College.
