Inner Harbor from Federal Hill

Description

Looking north from the Federal Hill neighborhood across the Inner Harbor at downtown Baltimore, Maryland. The buildings in the immediate foreground lie north of Hughes Street, which would later become the western end of Key Highway. To the left steamships are moored at the Light Street wharves while the Pratt Street wharves, which had been demolished during the Great Baltimore Fire of 1904, are still improvisational at center. Visible in the right background is the United Railways and Electric Company's Pratt Street Power Plant undergoing repairs from the fire.
