Johns Hopkins Hospital

Description

A view of the exterior of the Johns Hopkins Hospital, facing Broadway in Baltimore, Maryland. The hospital was designed by the Boston, Massachusetts architectural firm of Cabot and Chandler which completed initial plans prepared by architect John Niernsee. Completed in 1889, it was, at the time, the largest hospital in the United States.
