List of enslaved people from diary of Dr. William Chancellor

Description

Pages 84-86 from the diary of Dr. William Chancellor that includes a list of 135 enslaved individuals who were aboard a ship called the "Wolf." Includes information about age and gender of each, along with the time and location of purchase from a variety of locations, such as Gambia, River Sestos, and Annamaboe. Also lists the different illnesses and causes of death of 23 members of the group over a two-year period.
