Description

Pages 10-11 from the diary written by 16-year-old Margaret “Maggie” Mehring, recounts life in Carroll County during the Civil War. Twenty miles from Gettysburg, Maggie describes what is happening around her, her thoughts and feelings in the tense atmosphere as troops march through town.
