People of Baltimore!

Description

A broadside printed two days after the Pratt Street Riot, also known as the Baltimore riot of 1861, during which pro-secessionist and Southern-sympathizing citizens of Baltimore attacked the 6th Massachusetts regiment traveling through the city. This broadside urged Baltimore citizens to defend their city and their homes and encouraged them to support the troops convening in Baltimore to defend the city.
