Daguerreotype portrait of Daniel Holliday (1824-1892), wholesale dry goods merchant of D. Holliday & Co., once located on Lombard Street in Baltimore, Maryland. Around 1852, Holliday married Fannie Rutherford, and the couple were parents to: Fannie Rutherford (1853-), married Joseph E. Trippe, Jr.; Gertrude Rutherford (1855-1879), married Thomas D. Loney; Daniel (1857-1900); Ross Campbell (1860-1930, married Alice Elder; Miriam (1863-1930); and Florence (1875-), married Frank H. Otis.
