Description

Half-length portrait of Mrs. Ann Owen Tiernan (1775-1841) seated wearing a bonnet, a black dress, high white collar, and stole. Tiernan was the second president of the Baltimore Orphan Asylum and a manager of the Female Humane Association Charity School.
