Description

Black silk velveteen chatelaine bag in pentagon shape. Finished with gold metal bead twisted and looped fringe. Front embellished with gold metal filigree design, centered with a medallion featuring a depiction of a neoclassical building with ten figures in foreground. Opens at top with hinged filigree flap featuring a turquoise studded rose at center. Purple silk satin lining. Worked gold chain handle attached to hook, which would attach to a chatelaine belt.
