Description

Quilt featuring floral motifs, fruit, wreaths, baskets, and a triangle with the star of Bethlehem representing the Temperance movement. Presented to travelling Methodist minister Thomas Harrison West Monroe (1804-1864) by female congregation members from Maryland to Illinois.
