Quilt
Description
Baltimore album quilt top with four by five block pattern that was left unquilted. The designs featured on the quilt include baskets of fruit and flowers, cornucopias, lyres, birds, an American flag, and a ship. The quilt is sometimes called "Little Lucy" after the female figure in the bottom left corner who is believed to represent a children's book character. It was possibly made for a Captain Aust. Many of the squares are inscribed with the names of friends and family members.
