Quilt

Description

Baltimore Album Quilt made by Ann Eliza Bush to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, of which her husband, George H. C. J. Bush was a "Scarlett Degree" member. Each block contains a symbol relating to the Baltimore Album style or to the tenants of the order. The words "Friendship," "Love" and "Truth" are embroidered on blocks near the center of the quilt, followed by a block embroidered with the name of the maker.
