Saber

Description

Confederate Light Artillery Saber 1861. Belonged to Brigadier General Charles Sidney Winder of Easton, Maryland. Winder graduated from West Point in 1850. He was killed on August 9, 1862, at the battle of Cedar Mountain in Virginia while in command of the "Stonewall" Brigade of the Confederate Army.
