Saber

Description

Union Cavalry Saber made by the Mansfield Lamb Company. Sabre found by donor, William L. Ritter, Senior 2nd Lt. Artillery, C.S.A. of Capt. Ferd. O. Claiborne's Co. on the roadside near Columbia, Tenn. In a charge made on the enemy at that point. Seeing the saber beside the road Ritter ordered one of his men to hand it to him.
