Submarine

Description

This is a metal and plastic remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) known as "Lucky" from the Unites States Navy. The ROV is a bright yellow color with eyebrows, eyes, and a mouth painted on the front along with "LUCKY" in bold lettering. In 1986, it was designed and built by Deep Sea Systems International and Benthos in North Falmouth, Massachusetts. "Lucky" was one of the first ROVs used for sub-sea archaeological investigations in Maryland and the Chesapeake.
