Approximately 18 people standing in front of attractions at the Tolchester Beach Amusement Park. The Kent County park consisted of a bathing beach, amusement park, racetrack, and hotel, and was in operation from 1877 to 1962. It was a popular vacation destination for Baltimoreans as it was only 27 miles across the Chesapeake Bay and the Tolchester Steamboat Company ran daily excursions to Tolchester from Baltimore, Maryland.
